Delft GeoSystems courses and symposia
May 26, 2005 In 2005 Delft GeoSystems started to increase their number of training courses and symposia. These are organized in close cooperation with the GeoDelft and the Delft GeoAcademy. During the past 6 months well over 150 people have participated in one of 6 courses about Delft GeoSystems software. For an overview of available courses follow this link.

Besides providing courses, GeoDelft finds it important to focus attention on different aspects of Geo-engineering. To do so, we organize symposia addressing these issues and allowing for discussion. These symposia give us the opportunity to interact with the engineering community. Following a symposium, GeoDelft’s scientists and developers address these issues, often resulting in new software options. During a recent symposium on settlement prediction 130 participants shared ideas and experiences. The audience concluded that good and robust prediction models such as the isotache model are very useful, and that combination with automated parameter fits, based on settlement plate measurements, is very desirable. Both are available in MSettle.
